Thankgiving Tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I just thought that I will give my thanks. I don't know where to start or how to end, there is no order to this list. Just needs to be said.

Things I am Thankful for:
  • Scott and Iain
  • My Health
  • My Family
  • My Families' health
  • Our Jobs
  • Our Home
  • My Friends, old and new
  • The Men and Women in Iraq
  • The Men and Women who have left Iraq
  • The Men and Women going to Iraq
  • Veterans of all ages
  • The meals we will enjoy
  • The people I will meet
  • The people I have met
  • Christmas with my Son and Hubby
  • Those little things that make me smile
  • The big things that make me smile
  • Everyone who has ever helped me to be where I am today
  • Warm drinks and cool treats
  • Toasty warm homes and freezing cold mornings
  • Scarfs, hats, Sweaters and Jackets
  • Seeing the magic of Christmas unfold before my Sons eyes

The last is said because it truly is special to see my son smile at the Christmas tree and ask questions about Santa Clause. This will be the happiest Christmas and Thanksgiving for myself because of my Sons enthusiasm for these holidays.

With these things said, I will go and prepare to stuff my face and express my gratitude to the chef!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I got a new job! It pretty cool. For my first day of training I did paperwork all day then talked to the people at my table... They are pretty cool. The second day, today, I got to play Black Jack all day. It was so fun. Basically my title will be "player" and I get to play Black Jack and Poker for a living. Well, sort of, I also have to make sure no one is cheating and be a third party player for people who don't want to bet. So that sums up the knowledge of what exactly my job is. I will update as things progress and I get a better picture of what exactly I will be doing.

What to do?

It has been a couple of crazy nights this week, with my son waking up 2 or 3 times a night. He is also waking up at 4 in the morning and staying up. This is a habit that we want to stop but we are at a loss as to how. He needs his nap during the day or he is ridiculously cranky before bedtime. It is a little frustrating. It's either sleep but have a cranky boy all day or no sleep and have a happy boy all day! Decisions, decisions. It doesn't help that my temperament parallels his. If I don't get sleep you don't want to talk to me... or even look at me funny. Poor Scott :(

My first Post!

I have never posted before and thought I might give it try. At least it will give you something to read. I don't know what my blog will be about but I can tell you that some crazy things happen to me and my family. My posts will probably consist of my family's happenings and my new adventures in the couponing world. I totally lack experience with coupons but I am learning, slowly but surely. :) Just hang in there and if you have any tips let me know. I would LOVE to hear them.
